This policy describes how the Countory mobile application (the "App") handles your data. Our core principle is simple: Countory is an offline-first app. Your data belongs to you.

1. Data Collection and Use

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers or third parties. All information you enter (inventory, quantities, item names) is stored exclusively and locally on your device's memory.

2. Camera and Photos Access

The App requests access to your device's camera and photo library solely to allow you to scan barcodes and take or select photos for your items. This process happens entirely locally on your device. No images, videos, camera feeds, or any related data are ever sent to our servers, shared with third parties, or transmitted over the internet.

3. Local Storage Access

The App requires access to your device's storage to save your inventory database (SQLite) and to allow you to export or import your backups as JSON files. These files are under your exclusive control.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking services. You will never be tracked while using Countory.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

Since your data never leaves your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all your data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in your device settings.
